Dr. Greg Worley

Greg is a graduate of the Western College of Veterinary Medicine and holds a Master of Business Administration from Ivey Business School at Western University. Prior to joining Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA), Greg practiced in both the food animal and equine sectors in Canada and the US with a focus on reproduction and herd health management. He has also spent time in corporate roles across the pharmaceutical and banking industries.   

 At OMAFRA, Greg serves as the both the Chief Veterinary Officer and the Director of the Animal Health and Welfare Branch with a mandate to effectively manage the prevention, detection and response to animal health incidents of public concern, including regulatory oversight of a variety of inspection programs and related program supports in collaboration with health and industry partners.
